It’s That Time of the Year Again!

On October 31st, Centereach High School will be hosting its annual trick or treat street event. On this day, all the clubs and organizations of our school are given a task to come up with a theme and corresponding activities to entertain the kids. The clubs are assigned a certain classroom (including the cafeteria and gym) which symbolizes a door where kids can go to trick or treat. The goal of this event, besides bringing the community together, is to allow the younger kids to still enjoy the Halloween experience without being out on the streets or staying up too late.

In order to get you excited for trick or treat street we present a quick sneak peek into some of the themes of our clubs. The newspaper club itself is partnering with the Literary Magazine Club on the theme of Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead. Furthermore, the Art Honor Society’s theme is the Wizard of Oz. Dorothy will be greeting the kids and their parents as the walk in while Todo, the Scarecrow, the Fortune teller, the Tin Man, and Glinda will be helping the kids in the various activities as they enter Emerald City! These are just two of the themes for the numerous clubs that we have at Centereach High School! Come to our event from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a non-perishable food item to enjoy a fun, candy filled Halloween!
