CHS “Howl” Dance Raises Beaucoup Bucks (over $2000) for Man’s Best Friends

CHS Winter Rock n’ Rescue Dance

By Emily Dwyer

Centereach High School and Youth for Humanity Club hosted a Winter Dance Friday night to raise money for animals in need. The evening was filled with dancing, food, and tons of fun. Many came out to support the cause and have a great time. The dance also had a raffle section with lots of great prizes to raise even more for such a valuable cause. It was wonderful to see so many from the school enjoying time together while donating to save animals in need. The evening came to a close with cake and the song “I’ve Had the Time of My Life” blaring. It was an amazing night and hopefully this dance will become an annual tradition here at CHS!

It is going to Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue in Port Jefferson. They are associated with The Guardians of Rescue and Paws of War.
