The United Sophomores of America may have gotten 3rd place, but they still had a blast! Even with a few upsets such as their disqualification from Scrambler, and the not-so-wanted pick of Hello as their Lip Sync song, once they got out of the slum the class picked their attitude back up for a good mood all around. One of the highlights of the evening was the first place win in the Four-Legged Race. The four teams blew away the competition beginning with Kaitlyn Trezzo, Justin Ormiston, and Crystina Coppolla, followed by the two teams of Sarah Lafond, Ethan Matias, Shaun Ormiston, Chloe Galvez, Sehar Akram, and Branden Smith, and finishing strong with Olivia Zhu, David Hatami and Sakib Choudhury. They were moving so fast it was “disturbing” – Mr.Morturano. Another star moment was the win in pipeline with participants Michael Velardi, Irene InFantes, Michael Miller, Devyn Reischman, Dan Ragone, Danny Hogan, Katelyn Menzel, and Brianna Pace. Shout out to all the other sophomores, because without their awesome sportsmanship, support and preparation, none of this could’ve happened. This year they totaled with 3 wins. They’ve definitely learned a lesson that you don’t have to win to have fun, however, watch out everyone, next year Class of 2018 is taking the W!
