DECA Regional Competition 2016 Very Busy and Businesslike!

On January 6, 2016 the DECA Regional Competition took place at Suffolk County Community College. Over a thousand students attended this event in their best attires, not even business casual, but completely formal. Imagine a sea of high school students in suits, dresses, and/or blazers. This filled the gymnasium and caused an extremely long lunch line. If you’ve ever been to the Suffolk Student Center picture a line going down the steps to the cafeteria all the way to the cash registers looped around a couple of times. Even the vending machines had lines too! Our school brought home two trophies, by Eliz and Corinna, and they will continue on to states in Rochester, New York. Good luck!
