The time for another apocalyptic wasteland simulator game is on the horizon for all of your video game platforms. But, not just any wasteland sim, another edition to Bethesda’s Fallout game series is being released on November 10. No longer shall we wait until we grow old and forget about this critically acclaimed game. Fallout 4 has what every gamer wants in it and aims to please everyone who plays it. By offering numerous opportunities to explore the huge map, develop your character, and befriend companions that will help your on your quest throughout the wasteland, Fallout 4 is going to be a must play game for every gamer.

Fallout 4 is set upon a post-nuclear war struck Boston and your character is thrown in to make sense of what happened to himself. The game begins where your character lives with his family and he hears a knock at the door. It’s Vault-Tec. The leading provider of underground bunkers that are said to withstand nuclear fallout. The sales man tries to get our character to accept his offer and allow his family to become residents of Vault 111. And then the game cuts to when the bombs drop. Your character and his family rush to the Vault and its a blank screen from then on. And when the screen reactivates your met outside the Vault, 200 years later. It’s unclear how our character survived for 200 years and is the only one left but with much fan speculation, the popular theory is cryogenics.

As with all other Fallout games in the series you have a lot of opinions to do at the start of the game. You, the player, has the power to choose what you want to do when you want to do it. The order is meaningless at this stage of the game. With that said, old Fallout players can go explore the world and collect resources to begin construction on their own Fallout civilization. This feature has not been seen in any other Fallout games and will be interesting to say the least. Character can also go look for your 200 year old house and find a worried robot that has been waiting for decades for your return. With the help of the creators of the games we have found out many details on the core aspects of the game that make it Fallout.

These features include S.P.E.C.I.A.L, VATS, and armor and weapon choices.  S.P.E.C.I.A.L is the main component of any Fallout game because these are your main stats that govern how you as a wasteland survivor will handle post-nuclear Boston.  S.P.E.C.I.A.L is an acronym for Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, and Luck. At the beginning of the game you get to choose how you want to distribute points and the higher a stat is means better survival in the wastes. VATS allows you to slow down time and pinpoint your shots when fighting enemies and other horrors. And lastly, the weapon and armor customization choices. Finally in a Fallout game you have the choice to mix and match different armor and weapons and not be limited. The new feature allows you to go up to a workbench and with the random scraps of materials you find throughout the world, you can use them to upgrade and customize your gear. You can turn a garbage into a gun that could overpower what you have now.

Fallout 4 releases November 10, 2015 and is sure to be one of the most sought after game this holiday season because of its popularity. It currently has an option to buy a copy of the game with a real life Pip-Boy and even with that limited supply, it sells out whenever there are more on the market. The infamy of this game will be remember even when its players turn old and have kids of their own that will play this game. Oh and did I mention infinite leveling in Fallout 4?
